Custom Designed Humidor

This humidor was constructed from solid mahogany. The unique grain pattern was purposefully created by choosing boards with specific growth ring angles as they relate to the boards surface. The top is crotch mahogany veneer, book-matched, with holly stringing, and sand-shaded fans inlaid at  the corners. The vertical corners of the box are trimmed with ebony, and the top and bottom edges are banded with ebony, holly, and mahogany bandings which were made in the shop of StephenGeorge. The finish is shellac, French polished to a high gloss.
